Is it possible to retrieve workflow statuses from the liquid coding (sense not via Insight reports)?

Hi @Nikhil

No, it’s not possible to retrieve information about the workflow in liquid.  
You can however use it in Insights indeed.  
There’s an example on the bottom of this help article:
