The question is there often: how can I show todays date in a letter for my customer?

With this code, you can easily do it :

{{ 'today' | date: '%d %B %Y' }}

It will shown this date-format:
06

The output of the date, can be changed by the date-filter.

If you change it to this :

{{ 'today' | date: '%d/%m/%y' }}

you’ll see this :
