Collect signatures on one frontpage instead of 5 pages with the same e-signature

Hello community,

We often get the same question: is it possible to collect all digital signatures on a single page for an export bundle that requires signing?

At Ok!Sign, accountants are charged per signature placed. This can add up if signatures are needed on many documents. That’s why they want to see this bundled into one document, with the signatures on the first page. (Of course, it would then state that this bundle belongs together and the signatures pertain to all documents within that bundle.)

Is this possible?

Hi @JoyceOlivier and welcome to the Silverfin Developer Community!

You can create a new permanent text or a reconciliation text yourself and add the necessary liquid code and signmarkers. Though I don’t recommend doing that on the cover page of a style. It’s cumbersome to maintain and you won’t have a changelog either. You can also just include a new text or reconciliation in your export before any other reconciliation to serve the same purpose.

But I wonder if this would be used in combination with templates from Silverfin, or with your own custom solution?
The relevant Silverfin templates will still contain the current signmarkers that you’re wanting to group somewhere else. This might be confusing to users, or lead to an even higher cost if they decide to sign on both the new and “old” signmarkers.
